{TGB - 12.2 Assignment} Don't Take My WingsIt was a brand new day. The morning light had already peaked over the distant mountains, casting a warm, golden glow upon the whole of Nandryx. There was a light, pleasant breeze traveling lazily through the plains, cooling the land despite the summer heat.
The quiet chorus of birdsong woke Charlie—no, Orabelle (she was, after all, Orabelle now)—from her slumber. This was the first night she’d slept within the camp; the first time she’d been allowed near her tribemates; and this was the first full day she’d spend as a full-fledged member of the Air-Tribe. She emerged drowsily from the den, blinking against the early sunlight and shaking out her pale-ginger coat. Her mane spilled effortlessly over her shoulder, having grown even longer during the past moons. Orabelle glanced over her shoulder at her back, attempting to nose the soft fur into place, but something else caught her eye, and she couldn’t help but smile.

{DotW - Short Story} A Dove's Farewell - CaluminaThe cool breeze traveled swiftly through the mountain pass, stirring up small flurries of snow and the occasional group of dried pine needles. The air, though frigid, carried scents from places far from there; places Calumina was beginning to fear she’d never have the chance to see.
The little she-wolf sat in silence atop a mound of snow, watching as the last, dying rays of sunlight disappeared behind the distant hills. The trees swayed and the birdsong faded as darkness settled over the canyon. Her home. Or, at least, that’s what it was intended to be.
But this didn’t feel like home.
Calumina had learned the word at a young age. She’d been taught the meaning. And yet, it had taken her this long to fully understand it. Now? She wasn’t so sure if she’d ever had a real home before. Home was someplace she should long to return to, a place of safety and comfort. This canyon couldn’t possibly be her home. She wanted nothing more than to leave.

She could remember it so clearly, as if she were simply reliving those several, terrible moments. It had been just before sundown, the fluffy clouds tinted a soft shade of pink and orange. Charlie had been admiring them happily, when Sheba had approached her. Even then, she'd sensed that something was wrong. The Blue-Air's expression had been too grim—too reluctant. {DotW - RP} First Introductions - Calumina X Alyan
The days were getting cooler with each passing morning. Fall was coming, and it was a time of the year that Alyan was looking forward to a lot. As he walked by the main den area, he noticed a figure that was unfamiliar to him. Curiosity sparked in his mind, as he walked closer to the grey wolf. 

"Hello there. I don't think we've had the pleasure in meeting one another. My name's Alyan." He greeted the wolf in a friendly tone, as he observed how this wolf would react to his greeting.

It surprised the young she-wolf, just how quickly the land seemed to succumb to the coming chill. It wasn't anything she wasn't used to, of course. Still, this new land was also very different from her past home. Yet, she was adjusting quickly—to the land, anyway. The customs? All of the new faces and scents? Not so much. Calumina had to admit, she felt a little overwhelmed. There was so much to learn about Highvallian culture, far more

Finally... she finally became a mentor. Clementine still couldn't believe it, it felt like just yesterday she had won the war with the tribes and her tattoo changed color from Pink/White to Pink. It was an early morning and pain wracked through her entire body, yet when Zero was defeated and The Enlightened cats were left with no leader filled her with strength to fight another day.
It was early morning, the sun was peeking through the horizon from the Fire Tribe camp and movement could be heard from within the dens. Patrols were leaving and some were coming back, as for Clementine, she wanted to wake up early and take her very own apprentice (she still couldn't believe it) out on hunting training.
Trotting over to the apprentice den, the small molly popped her head inside, her ears arching forward as she scanned the sleeping and furry bodies. Almost automatically she spotted Warden, sleeping soundlessly-- or what appeared to be sleeping anyw

The weather seemed to grow colder with each passing day. This was the first morning that Calumina noticed a very thin layer of sparkling frost covering each leaf and blade of grass that sprouted out from between the thousands of boulders that housed the Highvalley wolves. She'd slept soundly for the first time in weeks, tucked snuggly between some of her new packmates beneath the rocks. The valley itself seemed to shield them from most of the wind, though a light, cool breeze still found its way through the vale.
Calumina smacked her lips tentatively, tasting the crisp, mountain air. The sun was still mostly hidden behind the topmost cliffs, allowing only faint dapples of light to pool across the ground. A few wolves basked in the morning light, lying comfortably atop flat-ish rocks and cliffs. Most, however, had already left the Vale to venture out into the territory.
